Release notes

What changed in each Flow release.

Each stable release has a page here: docs/releases/<version>.md, where the version is YYYY.M.N (a correction is YYYY.M.N-C). The release cut writes it from the release's changelog file. The site shows the highest stable version as the latest release.

Every release, betas included, is also on GitHub Releases, and its complete Markdown changelog is in the changelog index, with the audited contribution records.

• v2026.10.53 (latest) - A read field goes to the custom field of the same name; mark work system fields.
• v2026.10.52 - Match a capture to a job, and the Capture page on phone and desk.
• v2026.10.51 - Store a form photo as a capture.
• v2026.10.50 - Non-chargeable tab for invoices a lab keeps but never bills.
• v2026.10.49 - Xero clients become Flow contacts, and contact edits go both ways (opt in on the Xero page).
• v2026.10.48 - Flow's tables move to their own database schema, so a Replit publish never offers to drop them.
• v2026.10.47 - Send holds drafts that a skip rule matches, and you can delete a draft that was never issued.
• v2026.10.46 - The Invoices list can show the job's Shipped date, Case, Practitioner, Due date and custom fields.
• v2026.10.45 - Sidebar shows daily work first; More and the account menu hold the rest.
• v2026.10.44 - Filters work like ClickUp's, with groups, And / Or and date ranges, on Jobs, Invoices and Reconcile.
• v2026.10.43 - Rules opens on cards (Drafts, Price codes, Invoices), each with its own page, and has its own icon in the sidebar.
• v2026.10.42 - An invoice rule can now say "Pending, with a note": a draft that matches goes to the Pending tab, and its invoice page shows what to fix.
• v2026.10.41 - Reconcile is one list of jobs and invoices, laid out like Jobs and Invoices, with no overlapping rows.
• v2026.10.40 - Xero Connect asks for payments, so Xero payments come back to Flow; a connection made before this release needs one Connect again.
• v2026.10.39 - Invoices tabs are now Pending, Ready, Draft, Approved, Sent and Void; the invoice page has Accept change and a recheck icon, and Seazona links open the exact order.
• v2026.10.38 - Work › Reconcile shows each done job with no invoice, and each Flow invoice with no job, so a person can link, make an invoice or skip.
• v2026.10.37 - Flow emails each invitation through Clerk, and the People page is cleaner.
• v2026.10.36 - The Issued tab is now Finalised, and each finalised invoice shows a Xero badge.
• v2026.10.35 - The Jobs page has Group, Sort and Filter, and each account keeps its own choice.
• v2026.10.34 - Jobs can hold custom fields, and a stage move made in Flow is handed to Seazona to finish.
• v2026.10.33 - Flow reads each older job from the work system, and the accounting system's latest changes, just before it drafts or sends an invoice.
• v2026.10.32 - Flow keeps its own price list, linked to Xero items and Seazona products, with a price check.
• v2026.10.31 - Invoices opens on Ready with a send note, and Invoicing settings is now Invoice rules.
• v2026.10.30 - Automatic drafts that pass their checks go straight to Ready.
• v2026.10.29 - Xero matching no longer waits on payments.
• v2026.10.28 - The job board shows work stages, and Seazona lines find their price item and customer.

• v2026.10.22 - Flow gains the data spine every integration shares, so Flow holds its own data.
• v2026.10.21 - Flow imports from the earlier codebase when it starts, on hosts with no shell.
• v2026.10.20 - Every page, and Clerk's own sign-in components, take Field's design systems.
• v2026.10.19 - An owner connects Xero, Flow copies its contacts and items, and Flow sends issued invoices to Xero as drafts.
• v2026.10.18 - Flow starts as its own app, with a PostgreSQL data model for organisations, contacts, the price list and invoices.
